About Me & My Work

I started truly writing in September of 2021, and I quickly realized it was my passion and something I needed to pursue and dedicate more time to. I fell deeply in love with words, and within that, I found myself in these stories. I got myself out of a 6-year reading slump and started falling back in love with reading. 

I am originally from Western New York, but I have called the Southern Tier my home since 2020. I am happily married and have 4 wonderful fur babies.

I continue to learn and grow every day, and even speak a bit of Finnish now!

In April 2022 I found my first major plot hole in my novel "Remind Me" It was a daunting task and a huge issue to fix and took a massive rewrite to fix. I found myself writing alone at my little desk for hours, just staring at a screen. I eventually stumbled upon the writer group, "Shut Up & Write" for the first time in so long, I felt I had a place to belong. 

In the beginning of 2023, we branched away and created our own community of creative people and being a part of an admin team and helping run "The Online Creative Collective" is one of the biggest honors in my life.
